This series of collective position papers (a list of the supporting organisations can be found on the back-page of each paper) aim to provide companies and the organisations that support them with accessible and consistent guidance for effective investment and action in landscapes and jurisdictions. The series provides a common baseline set of expectations on which the practitioner community is building more detailed guidance and tools.
- This first paper presents the characteristics that determine what constitutes a landscape investment or action
- The second paper shares what minimum and supporting information companies should include to make effective landscape action claims
- The third paper sets initial guidelines for what claims companies can make about their contributions to landscape performance outcomes
- The fourth paper provides a rationale for company investment in landscape monitoring and sets out expectations of company roles and responsibilities
A company roadmap brings together the content of the four position papers to support effective engagement in landscape and jurisdictional approaches. This will be available interactively on the JA Resource Hub from May 2024.
In June 2023, ISEAL held a webinar in partnership with TFA and the JA Resource Hub to share key points from position papers one and two and to have a discussion about their importance and application for companies. This was followed by a second joint webinar in February 2024 focused on key points from position papers three and four. Watch below.
